Mādhava went to meet him, unknown to Kaunteya. Kṛṣṇā and Pāṇḍava saw each other in Prabhāsa.
कौन्तेय से अज्ञात होकर माधव उनसे मिलने गये। कृष्ण और पांडव ने प्रभास में एक दूसरे को देखा।
They embraced each other and asked about each other's welfare. Then the beloved friends, who were like the riṣi-s Nara and Nārāyaṇa of yore, sat down in the forest.
उन्होंने एक-दूसरे को गले लगाया और एक-दूसरे का हालचाल पूछा। तब प्रिय मित्र, जो प्राचीन ऋषि नर और नारायण के समान थे, जंगल में बैठ गये।
Then Vāsudeva asked Arjuna about what he had been up to and about why the Pāṇḍava was visiting all the tīrtha-s.
तब वासुदेव ने अर्जुन से पूछा कि वह क्या कर रहा है और पांडव सभी तीर्थों का दौरा क्यों कर रहे हैं।
Thereupon, Arjuna recounted to him exactly what had happened. On hearing this, the lord Vārṣṇeya approved.
इसके बाद, अर्जुन ने उसे वही बताया जो हुआ था। यह सुनकर भगवान वार्ष्णेय ने स्वीकृति दे दी।
As they desired, Kṛṣṇā and Pāṇḍava sported themselves in Prabhāsa. They then went to the mountain Raivataka, to live there for some time.
जैसा कि वे चाहते थे, कृष्ण और पांडव ने स्वयं को प्रभास में धारण किया। फिर वे कुछ समय के लिए वहां रहने के लिए रैवतक पर्वत पर चले गए।
On Kṛṣṇā's instructions, men had already decorated the mountain and stored it with a lot of food.

तीर्थानां दर्शनं चैव पर्वतानां च भारत आपगानां वनानां च कथयामास सात्वते
O descendant of the Bhārata lineage! He told Sātvata about the tīrtha-s, mountains, rivers and forests he had seen.
हे भरत वंश के वंशज! उन्होंने सात्वत को अपने द्वारा देखे गए तीर्थों, पर्वतों, नदियों और जंगलों के बारे में बताया।

O Janamejaya! As he was thus speaking, lying on a bed that was like heaven, sleep crept up on Kaunteya.
हे जनमेजय! जब वह स्वर्ग के समान बिस्तर पर लेटे हुए इस प्रकार बोल रहा था, तो कौन्तेय को नींद आ गई।
He was awakened in the morning, with the sweet sounds of singing and the sounds of the veena, chants and blessings.
सुबह उन्हें गायन की मधुर ध्वनि और वीणा की ध्वनि, मंत्रोच्चार और आशीर्वाद के साथ जगाया गया।

स कृत्वावश्यकार्याणि वार्ष्णेयेनाभिनन्दितः रथेन काञ्चनाङ्गेन द्वारकामभिजग्मिवान्
After he had performed the necessary acts, Vārṣṇeya greeted him happily. Riding on a golden chariot, they set off for Dvārakā.
आवश्यक कार्य करने के बाद, वार्ष्णेय ने खुशी से उसका स्वागत किया। वे सोने के रथ पर सवार होकर द्वारका के लिए रवाना हुए।
O Janamejaya! In order to pay homage to Kuntī's son, even the hut-s of Dvārakā had been decorated.
हे जनमेजय! कुंती के पुत्र को श्रद्धांजलि देने के लिए द्वारका की कुटियाओं को भी सजाया गया था।
The citizens of Dvārakā were eager to see Kaunteya and came out in hundreds and thousands onto the road followed by kings.
द्वारका के नागरिक कौन्तेय को देखने के लिए उत्सुक थे और सैकड़ों और हजारों की संख्या में सड़क पर निकल आए और उनके पीछे राजा भी थे।

There was a great common assemblage of Bhojā-s, Vṛṣṇi-s and Andhaka-s and hundreds and thousands of their women looked on.

Having been respectfully worshipped by all the Bhojā-s, Vṛṣṇi-s and Andhaka-s, he returned homage to those who deserved it, and was welcomed by everyone.

With Kṛṣṇā, he spent many nights in Kṛṣṇā's beautiful home, full of jewels and every object of pleasure.
